Three years ago Cooperative Energy was established as a joint venture between The Farmers Commission Company and Champaign Landmark, Inc. By working together in this joint venture, both Companies were able to expand the energy business and become more efficient. Today, we are proud as Cooperative Energy was successful in fulfilling its’ mission.
Last September, the two parent companies consolidated to create Heritage Cooperative, Inc. As we evaluated our options for Cooperative Energy, it is more advantageous and beneficial for our customers of Cooperative Energy to become part of Heritage Cooperative. Effective September 1, 2010, Cooperative Energy will become part of Heritage Cooperative, Inc.
All former assets and employees of Cooperative Energy will remain the same, only the name will change. The Kenton location will be operated as an Energy Branch for Heritage Cooperative, just like other segments of Heritage business. Heritage Cooperative is committed to our local communities with dedication and outstanding service. You will continue to call and place your orders as you have previously done.
All invoices from Cooperative Energy for August should be made payable to Cooperative Energy. Transactions beginning September 1, 2010 will be invoiced through Heritage Cooperative and will be made payable to Heritage Cooperative
